FAQ

  • What are the benefits of an On-Course Lesson?
Simply put, nothing can replace the data that we can compile on the golf course when we are trying to develop a plan for making you a better golfer. Much like a club fitting that is only done on a launch monitor, the driving range only gives us a rough idea of where your swing is at and where it needs to go. Moving to an on-course scenario gives professionals an opportunity to see how you actually play the game. Seeing this process first hand may allow me to see different areas of your game that may require more work than you think. For example, many players say that they need to be more consistent with their irons to hit more greens, but in reality, they have issues with uphill or downhill lies instead of consistency with their swings. On a range, there's no way to diagnose that, but in just a few holes on-course, it becomes very apparent. Another common mistake players make is that they need to work on their putting when in reality, they need to work on their approach shot accuracy more so. On-Course Lessons offer far more information for teachers to work from, which is why it is highly recommended to book a full assessment to determine the actual reasons why your game isn't where you want it to be and how to develop the best plan to get it there.
  • What is included in a lesson with you?
Beginning with basic instruction, my lessons can include everything from establishing a correct grip to diagnosing swing faults that cause poor scoring. During a typical lesson, we will identify what skill or habit you need to correct or practice, determine a course of action and develop a plan to ingrain the correction in the shortest amount of time possible. As your skill level progresses, more advanced techniques can easily be worked into the lesson plan. What's included: - 30 or 60 minutes of instructional time. - Range balls for use during the lesson. - Possible use of video or swing analysis equipment. - Use of FlightScope MEVO launch monitor system. - Instructions tailored to your game and presented in a simple, understandable way. Other services: - 15 minute swing Analysis - no cost with lesson package. $25 without lessons. - TopTracer Gapping Session - Coming Soon! - Ball fittings. - Custom club fitting.
